Products are not dosed identically, so the number of units needed for the same area can differ between them. That means the per-unit price alone is not the full picture, and your provider can give you a total for your plan before anything is injected.

A small amount of product at the border of the upper lip so it rolls slightly outward, showing a little more lip without adding volume. Often combined with lip filler, and one of the lower-commitment ways to try tox.
Neuromodulators work on dynamic lines, meaning the lines created by movement rather than those already set into the skin at rest. Setting that expectation before treatment is the difference between a result that pleases and one that disappoints.

Units cannot be removed once they are placed. Unlike hyaluronic acid filler, which can be dissolved, tox has to wear off. That is why a first appointment usually treats one or two areas with a modest number of units, and why assessing the response before adding more is the sensible order. Adding at a follow-up is simple; waiting out a result that is heavier than you wanted takes months.
Tox is priced per unit: Letybo $9, Jeuveau $9.50 and Botox by Allergan $12. A lip flip is $95. The total depends on the areas treated and the number of units used, which your provider confirms before treatment. Financing is available through Cherry.

All three are botulinum toxin type A and work in the same way. They differ in formulation and in price per unit. Because dosing is not identical between products, the per-unit figure does not translate directly into the cost of a treatment. If you have had a result you liked from a particular product, staying with it is a reasonable default.
Results generally last in the region of 3 to 4 months. Individual response varies, and it is common for a first treatment to be assessed at a follow-up before any adjustment is made.
Tox develops gradually rather than immediately, typically over about two weeks. Seeing little change in the first couple of days is normal and is not a sign that it has not worked.
Injections use a very fine needle and people commonly describe a brief pinch. Sensation varies between individuals and between areas. If comfort is a concern, raise it when you book.
A first treatment starts conservatively, with one or two areas and a modest number of units, then a follow-up to assess how you responded. Suitability, including your medical history, is determined at consultation.
A conservative treatment is intended to soften movement rather than remove it. Starting modestly and reviewing at a follow-up is the usual way to manage this, and it is a reasonable thing to say explicitly to your provider at the consultation.
